Color problem had to do with the ink cartridges, not the driver, thank God. I’m having trouble locating that driver version. Raymundo, The answer to this is already in the comments.

When I set up the printer in Hp450x 7, it downloaded a driver from somewhere Microsoft, I guess that took half a second to fetch and install, after which I was able to print in color via the print server.
